Cancellation and Return Policy

You have the right to cancel any purchase up to 14 working days from delivery and receive a full refund. If you are returning your product, you must contact our Customer Services department at 01506 592239 or customerservices@lustreskin.com who will provide you with the address for returning the product to us.

Please be sure to package the parcel securely (making sure you include a note of your name and address inside the parcel) and then return it to us.

You must return the products to us within 14 days of notifying us of the cancellation, in the same condition in which you received them.

Returning all or part of your order

You have the right to return all or part of your order up to 14 days from receiving the products.

When returning all or part of your order you will receive a refund for the products you have returned within 14 days of sending the item back to us.

We advise that you take out enough postal insurance to cover the value of the contents. Please save your proof of posting and tracking information until your refund has been processed.

You will be responsible for the cost and risk of returning the items to us.

You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the Products while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right to claim the cost of any deterioration from you.

Blue light therapy has been recognised to provide skincare benefits by improving skin imperfections and revealing clearer, fresher and younger looking skin, particularly for the acne-prone skin types.

Red light therapy is used to beautify the external layer of your skin and improve your skin complexion by helping create a smoother and fuller looking texture.

Unlike other types of light therapy, LEDs do not contain ultraviolet rays. Therefore, they’re safe for regular use. You shouldn’t use LED light therapy if you take certain prescriptions such as Accutane or if you’re experiencing skin rashes. Please always refer to your healthcare professional for advice if you are under treatment before using any light therapy devices. We also strongly recommend you read the device contraindications before use as well.

No, LED light therapy is a gentle, safe and non-invasive method.

The LUSTRE® ClearSkin technology is safe to use for people with ocular photo-sensitivity, as there is no risk of eye injury or otherwise visual discomfort when wearing this light therapy device on the skin. The device should only be switched on AFTER it has been affixed to the treatment area of skin.

DO NOT look directly at the LED screen when it is switched on.

DO NOT place LUSTRE® ClearSkin over the eyes, or where the light will shine into the eyes during treatment.

A rare pigment darkening can occur immediately after the treatment. It is caused by visible wavelengths i.e. blue light, is temporary and completely harmless. It is commonly seen in darker skin types and usually fades in 48 hours. It is thought to be due to reversible oxidation of existing melanin and is not new melanin (which would last much longer). The bacteria continue to be killed, and the temporary discolouration is nothing to be concerned about.

Yes – you can use your LUSTRE® ClearSkin device on any part of the body affected by acne.

Yes. LUSTRE® ClearSkin is suitable for all skin types. However, a small number of people have a skin type* which is more sensitive to the normal level of adhesion of the LUSTRESTRIPS.

The best way to check whether your skin is more sensitive is to carry out a short test before your first treatment:

- Attach a LUSTRESTRIP to a LUSTRE® ClearSkin device and place on your inner forearm, just below the elbow. The LUSTRE® ClearSkin treatment head should be switched on and left in place for at least 20 minutes before being removed carefully by lifting from one edge.

If there is any discomfort, then we recommend applying a very small amount of non-comedogenic moisturising cream to the skin before attaching LUSTRESTRIP next time and this will normally solve the problem. Because of the strength of the adhesive, with 20 mins sessions, temporary marks can occur. These marks are only temporary and will disappear progressively and naturally.

*Fitzpatrick Skin Types V and VI can use the device safely, however we strongly recommend to assess your skin carefully after each session, there is an increased risk of pigmentation on those skin types.

The LUSTRE® ClearSkin REVIVE LED Mask has two settings to allow you to create a personalized skin care session. Choose the BLUE setting to fight against dull looking skin and reveal a fresher and revived complexion. Choose the RED setting to fight against tired looking skin and promote a visibly youthful glow. Alternate between BLUE and RED sessions for even better result.

Blue light (440nm) 

Known for its effectiveness in killing acne-causing bacteria under the skin, blue light reaches where creams & lotions don't - and heals skin from within. Exposure to blue light spectrum triggers a photodynamic response with p.Acnes bacteria, which in turn effectively destroys them using your body’s own defence mechanism. This ultimately prevents bacteria ever reaching the surface of the skin, leading to a reduction in skin inflammation the natural way. Red light (630nm)

This is the most deeply absorbed wavelength from all the other colours in the spectrum.

Because it penetrates right into the skin, it is more effective in boosting its condition and repairing at the source, resulting in a plumper, more radiant complexion.

No pain should be felt whilst using LUSTRE® ClearSkin RENEW Pro Facewear. If you experience any discomfort, please stop using the mask and contact your healthcare practitioner.

The LUSTRE® ClearSkin Renew Pro Facewear is suitable for users with a Skin Type of I – VI on the Fitzpatrick skin type scale.

Fitzpatrick Skin Types V and VI can use the device, however we strongly recommend to assess your skin carefully after each session as there is an increased risk of pigmentation on those skin types.

Yes! Light therapy has been studied and tested across hundreds of peer-reviewed clinical trials, with overwhelmingly positive results for skin health. It is pain-free and chemical free.

However, please do not aim or look directly into the lights. Doing so may cause temporary vision discomfort. Placement of the device should ensure that no part of the device is covering the eyes.

You may easily fit in a 10-minute session right after you wash and dry your face. The only important thing to remember is that your face should be clean before using the mask. Once the session is finished, you may proceed in applying a serum to your skin as desired!

One of the best things about the LUSTRE® ClearSkin Renew Pro Facewear is that you only need to use it once per day for the ENERGIZE mode and 5 times per week for the REVITALIZE mode. That's how great this mask is! For best results, we recommend that you do your 10 minutes session according to this protocol.

The first payment is taken when the order is confirmed. The second and third instalments are collected 30 and 60 days, respectively, after the first instalment. As soon as Lustre Skin Ltd have accepted your cancellation/return, Klarna will cancel any future scheduled payments as well as refund any amounts due. The return will be reflected in the Klarna app immediately.

Klarna will automatically attempt to collect your payment for your Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments purchase at Lustre Skin Ltd from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout. If we are unable to collect your payment on the scheduled due date Klarna will make one further attempt to automatically collect payment two days later. Should this last payment attempt fail, Klarna will issue you a statement for the full outstanding order amount which will become payable 15 days later. Klarna shall notify you when a payment is due two days in advance of attempting to collect your payment and you can always monitor the due date in Klarna app at your convenience.
